ESSENDON will try to rebound from its huge loss to Richmond when it meets a revitalised Brisbane Lions at the Gabba today.

Both sides were hammered last week — the Lions to North Melbourne and Essendon at the hands of Richmond — but the home side’s first win of 2018 will still be fresh in their mind.

Brisbane trounced Hawthorn a fortnight ago and will fancy its chances against the Bombers.

Later today, the Nat Fyfe-less Fremantle hosts Adelaide in a must-win clash for Don Pyke’s Crows.
