The speed limit outside Sydney train stations, bus interchanges, shopping strips and hospitals will be reduced to 40 kilometres per hour in a effort to curb the New South Wales road toll.

Milsons Point, Mosman, Seven Hills and Macarthur will be among the first suburbs that will have the new zones rolled out, News Corp has reported.
